A Beautiful Mind

Winner of four Academy Awards, A Beautiful Mind is the story of John Nash Ö a man who was living proof of the age old wisdom that there's a fine line between genius and madness. It is a human drama about the struggle of a true genius, inspired by events in the life of John Forbes Nash, Jr. and in part based on the biography by Sylvia Nasar. A mathematical genius, Nash (Russell Crowe) made an astonishing discovery in early life and stood on the brink of international acclaim. But his prodigious career was sidetracked by problems that would have broken many men. Nash, however, fought back. He had always been driven by his quest for one truly original idea and never lost sight of that dream. After many years of struggle, he triumphed over tragedy and literally changed the world.

Minority Report

Based on a story by famed science fiction writer Philip K Dick, Minority Report is an action-detective thriller set in Washington DC in 2054, where police utilise a psychic technology to arrest and convict murderers before they commit their crime. Tom Cruise plays the head of this precrime unit and is himself accused of the future murder of a man he hasn't even met.

Garfield The Movie

Based on characters created by Jim Davis, this family feature tells the story of Garfield (featuring the voice of Bill Murray) a supremely spoiled pet cat, who wants the affection of everyone around him, but only when he wants it. Trouble arises when, under the influence of the beautiful veterinarian Liz (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt), Garfield's owner Jon (played by Breckin Meyer) decides to introduce a cuddly dog called Odie to the family. Jealous of the attention that Odie is receiving, Garfield locks him out of the house. Odie then runs away but is kidnapped by the evil television personality Happy Chapman (played by Stephen Tobolowsky). Garfield realises that he's made a huge mistake, and embarks on a brave mission to rescue his new housemate. The comic strip comes to life with this live-action family comedy-caper.
